Miles away, but never out of touch

You moved for a job, a marriage, a better life — and your parents told you to go. Sambhal is how you keep looking after them anyway: care on the ground in India, and honest eyes you can trust from anywhere in the world.

We know the feeling

“I'm fine, beta.” And you have no way to know if that's true.

Your parents will not tell you about the fall in the bathroom, the medicine that ran out, or the man who called claiming to be from the bank. They will tell you the weather is nice and ask whether you have eaten.

Sambhal fills that gap — not by watching over them, but by being there. Someone visits, someone notices, and someone tells you the truth, plainly, before it becomes an emergency.

The 3 a.m. phone call

An emergency reaches you hours late, and you are a flight and a visa away. We answer first, act immediately, and call you while it is happening.

Money you cannot manage from here

Bills, renewals, pension filings and the Indian bank that needs someone to walk in. We do the walking in.

The loneliness nobody mentions

Long, quiet days between your calls. A companion who actually turns up changes that more than you would expect.

NRI Premium

Built around your time zone, not ours

NRI Premium is an overlay you add to any Sambhal plan. Everything on the ground stays the same — what changes is how you see it and how you pay for it.

Reporting on your clockYour coordinator's update lands in your morning, whether that is in Toronto, London, Dubai or Sydney — not at 3 a.m. your time.
Scheduled video callsA standing video call with your coordinator, and with your parents beside them. You see their face, not just a status message.
Billing in your currencyPay by card or international transfer in GBP, USD, CAD, AUD, AED or EUR. No wrestling with Indian bank portals from abroad.
An international lineA number you can call without international rates or an Indian SIM, answered by a person who already knows your family.
Richer written reportsPhotographs, receipts, doctor's notes and what was actually said — the detail you would have gathered yourself if you were there.
Emergency escalation to youA clear protocol agreed in advance: who we call, in what order, and what we are authorised to decide while you are getting on a plane.

What it feels like

A typical month, from where you sit

Not a dashboard full of numbers. A short, human account of how your parents actually are.

1

Week one

Your coordinator visits, pays the month's bills, and sends you photographs and receipts the same evening.

2

Week two

Papa's cardiology follow-up. Someone sits in the consultation, writes down what the doctor said, and calls you to explain it.

3

Week three

The geyser fails. A vetted plumber comes the next morning; you see the quote before we approve it.

4

Week four

A scheduled video call — your coordinator, your parents, and you. Then the written month's report, in your inbox, in your morning.

The hardest question: “I have never met you. Why should I trust you with my mother?”

It is the right question, and we would rather answer it plainly than decorate the website with promises. Here is exactly what we do to earn it.

Every person is background-checked

Police verification, reference checks and training before anyone enters your parents' home. You are told who is coming, by name.

One accountable coordinator

Not a call centre and not a rotating roster. One named person your parents recognise and you can reach directly.

We never hold their money

Bills are paid from their account, with your approval and an itemised receipt. We handle the errand, never the balance.

Leave whenever you like

No lock-in. Cancel with a month's notice and we return every document we hold, in person, to your parents.
